On July 9, 2024, Shanghai LifenGas and PT Bintan Cellular Co. Ltd officially signed a contract to jointly build the “600Nm³/h” high-purity nitrogen generator project. After 9 months of design and manufacturing and construction, the project successfully supplied gas on March 28, 2025, marking the fruitful results of the cooperation between the two parties.
On February 4, 2025, LifenGas team entered the site to begin install the equipment . During the installation , many challenges came one after another. The cold box hoisting site was severely limited, and large equipment was difficult to use.The construction team repeatedly surveyed the terrain, combined it with the actual situation on site, formulated an accurate lifting plan, and with the support of our customers on site, successfully completed the cold box lifting task.
During the commissioning phase, the delay in the arrival of the standard gas became another obstacle in front of the project. In order not to delay the construction period, the technicians decisively used the owner’s backup nitrogen for comparison, and with their rich experience and superb technology, they ensured the smooth progress of the project commissioning.
The project is a supporting air separation equipment and backup supply system for the 1GW project. After the project is put into operation, it can save the owner around 15 tons of liquid nitrogen consumption per day, about 70,000 RMB¥ in costs, effectively reducing production costs. At the same time, it completely solves the owner’s difficulties in purchasing liquid nitrogen and the long supply cycle, providing a solid guarantee for stable production operation. The successful commissioning of this project not only demonstrates the strong technical strength and excellent project execution capabilities of LifenGas Gas, but also injects strong impetus into the development of related industries in Indonesia, and also lays a solid foundation for the two parties to deepen cooperation in the future.
