On 22 May 2023, Wuxi Huaguang Environment & Energy Group Co, Ltd signed a contract with Shanghai LifenGas Co, Ltd for a 2000 Nm3/h water electrolysis hydrogen production plant. The installation of this plant started in September 2023. After two months of installation and commissioning, the system successfully delivered product with the required purity and capacity to the Huaguang electrolyzer test centre. The hydrogen output test showed that the water content is ≤4g/Nm3 and the alkali content is ≤1mg/Nm3.
The successful completion of this project demonstrates the improved technical strength and market competitiveness of Shanghai LifenGas in the field of water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment.
Project Process and Significance:
The supplied electrolytic water-hydrogen production equipment uses a new hydrogen-alkali liquid separation device independently developed by Shanghai LifenGas. This equipment features high gas-liquid separation efficiency, low residual water and alkali content in the outlet gas, and compact structure. The successful application of this equipment will greatly support the scientific research work of the electrolyzer test centre and accelerate the development and industrialisation of hydrogen energy technology.
