The Alkaline Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Generator consists of an electrolyser, a gas-liquid treatment unit, a hydrogen purification system, a variable pressure rectifier, a low voltage distribution cabinet, an automatic control cabinet and water and alkali distribution equipment.
The unit operates on the following principle: using a 30% potassium hydroxide solution as the electrolyte, direct current causes the cathode and anode in the alkaline electrolyzer to decompose water into hydrogen and oxygen. The resulting gases and electrolyte flow out of the electrolyzer. The electrolyte is first removed by gravity separation in the gas-liquid separator. The gases then undergo deoxidation and drying processes in the purification system to produce hydrogen with a purity of at least 99.999%.
